Striking the match
I’m 24, born and raised in St. Louis, and music has always been the thing. From the moment I could talk, I knew I was meant to be a singer ,inspired early on by Dreamgirls and shaped by years of lessons, choirs, and being immersed in performance. Music has always been my first love.
But right now isn’t about where I started it’s about where I am.
This past year, something clicked. I spent most of my time locked in at the studio with my producer Joe Capo Kent and my engineer Sam Maul, and the chemistry was undeniable. No forcing, no chasing just honest work, session after session, until the music started speaking for itself. That’s when I knew it was time.
Everything we’re doing right now is built from the ground up. No label. No outside machine. Just me, my people, and a whole lot of belief. I fund this myself, run my own business, and pour everything back into the music. It’s all in-house. All intentional.
It feels like striking a match.
The fire’s lit now. This year is about releasing the music I finally love, consistently and unapologetically. We’re laying bricks, powering up, and pushing forward with confidence and hunger. I don’t have endless resources but I do have the right team, the right sound, and the right energy.
And that’s more than enough to burn something real.
